Alan Glombicki, MD

Dr. Alan Glombicki is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Diplomate of the American Board of Gastroenterology

Dr. Glombicki is a 1977 graduate of the M.I.LT. Biochemical Engineering Department and received his M.D. at University of Illinois, Chicago. He served as Medical Director of Liver Transplantation after training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston and now Assistant Professor of University of Texas/Texas Liver Institute. In 2001 Dr. Glombicki was elected to “America’s Top Doctors”, President of Harris County Medical Society (Central) and President of American Liver Foundation of Texas.

His areas of special interest are evaluation of complex liver disease, pre-liver transplant evaluation and post-op management, viral, chemical, toxic exposure liver disease treatment, immunological disorders of the G.I. tract, and liver conditions of pregnancy.
